Thankyou for your support.I have one instance running at the moment and when I look in profiles there is no names there.
I suppose that is because the one I am using is under the default log in.
So if I open up the profiles while I have this one open and add a name then close and reopen the program with that name this one I am working on will have had its its profiles saved under that name?
If that is correct then would I when starting a second instance log in with say the default and organise my settings and while open add a profile name for second one.
A further query if I ma using Ba on two separate computers at the one time should I use different log in profiles?

KESIMKESIM wrote:Hi Mark,
have you got some guidance for me on the query I raised ( see thread)
"I'm just experimenting with using a seperate profile and a 2nd instance of Betting Assistant but have hit a small problem straight away.
In my first instance of BA i use the code:-
If ba Is Nothing Then
Set ba = New BettingAssistantCom.ComClass
ba.keepbettype = 0
End If
but how do I refer to the 2nd instance of ba when using COM? I presume I have to set up a 2nd COM link when using the 2nd instance"
Many thanks for your help.

Hi,
Sorry you can't use COM from more than one instance.
You can control multiple markets from a single instance of Betting Assistant using COM so that would be the way to go.

Mark
The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.
Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.
He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.
We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
