The following is from Betfair’s forum.

For the attention of UK Registered Customers Only
This message is to inform you that Betfair has taken the decision to restructure the licensing of its UK business. The changes will not impact your betting experience or the features available to you.
With effect from 00.01 on March 9th a new set of Terms and Conditions applies to the placement of Betfair exchange bets by you. These will be available to view at Betfair.com from the above time.
After the above change comes into effect, any further use of our site, or services relating to it, will constitute acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions by you.
This change means that from the above time, you will be contracting with a licensed betting operator (TSE (Gibraltar) LP) within the Betfair group which is based in Gibraltar, and not Betfair Ltd, as was the case before. TSE (Gibraltar) LP’s activities will be governed by Gibraltar gambling regulations.
The provision of helpdesk, payments and other services will be unaffected.
Thank you for your continued custom which is important to us.
Sincerely,
The Betfair Team |
Their terms and conditions can be viewed in full at http://www.betfair.com/aboutUs/Terms.and.Conditions |

Ok, but I dont remember it being so specific, but I may be wrong......
"Specific Conditions relating to betting on the Exchange
Operation of the Exchange
We reserve the right to refuse to post your offer on our Exchange without giving prior notice.
We may restrict you from using programs designed to automatically place bets within certain parameters (e.g. to back or lay at a certain price) ("bots") either generally or in relation to any specific bot if we believe that you have used a bot:
to the detriment of our business;
to place bets on, or manipulate, any Market which has the purpose or effect of adversely affecting the integrity of the Exchange or any Market. "
Regards

If you have asked this question because you saw the following in the terms then you need to contact Betfair if you have any queries.

I felt no change even for a bit. Though I can't seem to understand that this changes actually scares some punters back then. It really is funny. _________________
