Hi everyone,

i hope this isn't an ignorant question - i've searched and not found an answer so far - but is there a way of identifying all-weather races from the data that comes from BA through to excel?

If not, would it be possible to include "AW" when appropriate in that data for the future, please, Gary....

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I think that the following are the only UK AW races
so with a formula or something you can isolate them

Lingfield,
Wolverhampton,
Kempton,
Great Leighs
Southwell

You'd need to check that the race isn't a chase or hurdle too as some of these courses have a (turf) jumps circuit as well as the AW flat. Sometimes NHF races are run on the AW circuit too...... Smile

Bumping this thread because I'm also in need of a reliable way of differentiating between Flat turf and AW races, and I can't see any indicator coming from Betfair to Excel.

The track method suggested here doesn't work because Lingfield has an AW course and hosts flat turf (and NH races).

Any suggestions?

Don't think Betfair send any indicator so you'd need to grab meetings data that included an AW indicator from an outside source then just compare them against the current race. There's a few example sheets on the forum where the race class etc has been grabbed from racing post site so if the AW is included it shouldn't be hard to grab that instead. No AW meetings today sso I cant check to see if it;s grabbed
