Hi, I’m new to this sort of thing and what you have created sounds very interesting.
Any chance I could get a copy of that xls too please?

This is a very interesting thread and I have a similar problem. I`d like to create the database similar to www.soccerstats.com so I could do any searches I want. Is it possible to do it?

You can copy-paste the code from VBA-Sheet1 (top left in VBA editor) into another sheets (with names Sheet2, Sheet3 ...) , then change the Sheet1 (in the code) with Sheet2 etc , then copy-paste Sheet1 into Sheet2 etc. and you can log more matches in the other sheets.

Please if anyone wants he can improve it since my VBA knowledge is limited.

Dear alrodopial , could you please share the file again. It was expired.

many tks

It should be somewhere in my old hard disks.
If someone else can post it it would be great.
I don't know when I will be able to upload it again myself
By the way, osknows' recording program is very good as I remember and is available from Garry

Is there a way to record the trades that happen on Betfair using GA? I am interested in being able to look at the historic data for trades on football matches in different markets. So I could look at the data and see if the large money bets were backs or lays. Any help would be appreciated. reagrds

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
