In that case I'd like to suggest anyone wanting a good excel coder to try Rentacoder and ricks7 in particular. He's done a few routines for me and is fast, accurate and understands concepts very quickly.

It's a shame that this forum hasn't been able to establish a connection with a regular excel coder that understands BA too but the ones that have posted on here have been a bit of a waste of time.

I would have thought anyone with the right experience could make a good income from coding BA excel routines.

I think you're in a catch 22 with this forum as most coders looking for work will be touting their skills elsewhere and most of the knowledgeable VBA coders on here aren't looking for payment and and are happy to help for free so "looking for a coder" posts won't get many replies.

You could always suggest to ricks7 that he sticks up a post here or anyone looking for a coder actually sticks in an idea of what they require rather than a vague request.

"different country i.p address, maybe using a remote server?"

I do not understand why something like this can be written. If you look on my email adress, then you will see that my provider is in Austria.

For all who want to get codes for free or for 10-30€/day please do not contact me. I guess you would also like to be paid for your work. Treat people like you want to be treated.

Thanks

Yes, but between 30€ and 260€ there's a lot of room.

I offer to write a bot for 150€ all-inclusive.

I admit I am not a pro like Hexer but in the last 2 years I used a good portion of my spare time writing VBA code for Betting Assistant. I started with 3 worksheets and 1 page of VBA code. In the meantime I use 11 worksheets and 40.000 characters of VBA code that brought me the 'privilege' to pay Premium Charge. :?

If you are interested in a bot for 150€ send me a PM.

There is a web page that allows only posts with a certain number of characters and therefore shows how many are 'used up' already. I copied and pasted my code there.

yes cheers os,

Having copied 1 of my 17 modules to word 2007, the word count box informed me that it contained 6,677 words comprised of 31,827 characters excluding spaces and blanks.

Abso bloody useless info !!! Fantastic.

Blimey chaps is all this code really necessary? Mine get by on 1000 - 2000 characters and I'm doing fine......

Seriously, what does it do?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
