Triggered betting - Is this possible?

Hi there,

I have a computer program that output home/away/draw odds for all english football matches.

What I would like to do is output the odds to excel and compare with those on betfair. I then want to trigger bets on betfair where the odds are better than mine, with the stake amounts based on the kelly formula. I want to bet on every game too and as it's a trial to start with, some bets will need to be lower than the betfair minimum stake.

Can you tell me if this is possible using excel and gruss and if it is be so kind as to direct me to some reading material that might help?

Of course its possible but you have to consider things such as which day the games are being played on and in what league etc as the data from Betfair isnt on one neat page.

I think you're probably better off doing this manually or getting an app written by someone who can collate all the data together. Plenty of good coders on sites such as Rentacoder.

Thanks for the swift response Doris... I think you are right and was going to do this manually to start but was just looking for a faster, less tedious way for the future.

Keeping track of when games are on would be pretty tricky I think. I'll check out rentacoder, thanks for the advice.
