Spreadsheet for triggering lays on certain horse in running

Postby James01 » Sat May 11, 2013 12:55 pm

New here, so excuse me if this has been covered or done I am a absolute Excel novice and just started to use Betting Assistant and so far like it.
My main intrest is laying certain horses in running with a Excel spreadsheet that triggers lays if odds are met.

I know that it can be done in the condition feature in BA, but what I am after is a bot/spreadsheet that is first simple to use (me being a bit thick). and can be setup to work say the evening before the meeting.

Again any help is sincerely appreciated or if you could point me in the right directection be very grateful PM me.

With thanks

James

There's a few example sheets in the sample section of the forum http://gruss-software.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=8 , maybe one of those will just need a slight tweak to add another condition to the trigger cell to only bet in running (status shown in cell E2).

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
