BSP and Triggers

Postby glennphil2010 » Tue Jun 10, 2014 1:47 pm

Hi Guys,
I am new to Gruss BA and was wondering if it is possible to set up a trigger to back to BSP with an IF formula specifying a price range. Thanks in advance for your replies.

With the BSP you can fire bets into the BSP pool and specify a lowest back odds limit, i.e. the minimum odds you'll take unfortunately you can't specify an upper limit so you'd basically have to set your trigger to only send bets into the BSP pot when they were below say 50 at the time of betting.

Obviously races don't go to time , odds change etc so it's possibly you'd either include bets that come the off were higher than your 50 limit or miss out ones that were higher than 50 when you triggered the bets.

The lowest odds is set by the actual BSP so that wouldn't be a problem just depends on how 'strict' your upper range needs to be

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
