Am I missing something?
It must be related to calculating the wrong average odds so basing the offset off incorrect odds. I'll know more when I have fixed it.

Using Version 1.3.1.0L

Gary, this morning I set up 8 Tabs with Trigger Betting for the UK and Ireland Win Markets dated 23/04/22, with auto select markets set at 5 minutes before the OFF. Because the first Tab contained the 17:05 Doncaster it meant all Tabs containing races prior to 17:05 were closed.

Perhaps I am missing something, but can you please advise as to how I should proceed in the above scenario so that all Markets are replayed.

Many thanks

Re 23/04/22 Markets

Gary, I was just about to say ignore my previous post as I had discovered that resetting each market tab and then starting replay from the second tab (13:00, the earliest time) has worked perfectly.

Now reading your reply I see you have updated - in super quick time ;>) , to version 1.3.1.0m.

Many thanks
If you find anything else that does not work as expected then let me know.
Results sheet is not showing amounts Won or Lost for every race in which a bet is placed.

Following is my configuration:

Betting Assistant Version(1.3.1.0p)

Screenshot of Log Multiple Sheets Quick Link with Restore previous Results ticked -

The Trigger backs the selection in A5 for every race
=IF($T$1<=$U$1,IF($Y5="Y","CLEAR",IF(AND($E$2="Not In Play",$F$2="",$T5=""),"BACK-TL3-IPC","No Bet")),"Not Bet Time")

Sheet1 is Haydock
Sheet2 is Leicester

Screenshot of Results Sheet with Restore previous Results ticked -

Screenshot of Results Sheet with Restore previous Results not ticked -

All the results in bold are exactly as shown in the Results sheet except for the extra rows where I have pasted in the meetings and Transaction Log

Only allowed 3 attachments so will post screenshot of spreadsheet in next post.

PS I have only recently discovered that if you right button click on an image you can select 'copy image link' and paste the link into your browser address bar to view full screen.

Is it the bets from "Restore previous results" that are not updating? The information restored does not include the result which is fine on a live market as it is retrieved from Betfair's server. I will make it save the result and you can let me know if it solves the issue. I will release an update in the next few days.

The market replay feature is almost ready for release. I can now start to devote some time to other features.
I am working on integrating TPD which has been requested.
Check this out. This is only after a few days work. It's nowhere near the final product. It will have the option to create a custom column on the grid for each item of data available from TPD and also output these to Excel for automation.

The bets are not updating in either sheet.

If you look at the screenshot Results Restore.jpg you will see that the selection named Alrehb (Bet Ref 1000012 & 1000013) was a partial restore.

Apologies for not making it clearer but the sheet now named 'No Restore' was originally the Results sheet for when Restore previous Results was not ticked in the Quick Link

Thanks

I've managed to find a bug in the historical events that consistently crashes /hangs Gruss.

Using the race: 4/4/22 @Redcar 16.20

Place 3 LAY-TL12-SLF3.5-L-SLC1 @ 8.4, 6 & 4.8 on the horse Zimmerman

Once the price collapses and I think the SL is trying to kick in, the app hangs.

Is that 3 bets? £3 @ 8.4, 6 and 4.8? You must have triggered them separately so how did you do that? I need to replicate exactly what you did. I assume you used the CLEAR trigger or VBA.

Should have been more clear.

3 separate bets, all trigged via excel VBA as soon as the race goes in play.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
