Just loaded Gruss and it loaded without any issues but don't hold your breath for too long! Betfair only admitted they were under attack yesterday but the exchange site started falling apart on Saturday afternoon!

Up and down like a yoyo! Sounds like it could be another bad day at the 'office.' Another day off sick maybe?

Is there still a problem with gruss & the api? Last night it got to over 100 tries of 'fetching the markets. Please wait' has been working ok this eveing up until about 10pm, it was running a lil sluggish. So I quit gruss & loading back up again, its on its 20th try of 'fetching the markets'

Cheers

Markets have just now loaded ok

It is getting more than boring now. Yesterday afternoon, I again shut up shop early as the refresh rates were all over the place. As I notice the latter I go straight to options> performance options> and watch the price and bets refreshes fail rate, which for me usually sits between 0.9 and 1.5 %. If the rate goes over 2% I stop the bot and log off!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
