Probably won't be necessary, but I'll let you know. I have replicated it, but not getting the same errors as in the log, but it must be the same issue. One way it can happen is if the Betting Assistant Window is minimised when TPD-ON is triggered. There is some layout logic which is not running correctly because the window is invisible. I am looking for a solution.

I don't remember if I minimized it (probably I did) but I had other programs at the front for sure , changing from program to program

If you get chance do this little test. When it is black, resize a column slightly. It should make it appear. I have a working fix, just need to test more. I will probably post an update early tomorrow.

well, this didn't actually worked, area was black but I couldn't resize it as no "double arrows" sign appeared hovering at the edge (TPD column is the last at right in the grid) but
I could resize the previous column which made the black area to disappear but the TPD data didn't appear, only the heading of TPD appeared (furlong to end) as in pic

1st race ok,
2nd race with TPD area empty (not black but empty)
I'll send the log later

Try Version 1.3.1.2m

There is small chance I have fixed the issue, but it's based on a guess. Please send the log file again if same issue. Unfortunately even though I now know the exact line an arithmetic overflow is happening on, I don't know why. This version logs all values involved in calculation.

I have seen in your latest log that the total distance in metres value is zero. This is very unexpected. It's only sent once on connection to the stream and I've never seen it missing, but it must have been in your case. It now uses the remaining distance if the running time is zero because this value can be relied on to be the same value.

Please try Version 1.3.1.2n

Is there a way of knowing in Excel if the race is covered by TPD?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
