Something weird .............

1 pc on xp pro
1 instance of BA v63 2 tabs in use
1 instance of Excel - 2 projects running

Whichever excel project xls is displayed on screen - it completes the full set of procedures to anylse data , and places bets

The xls project which is not displayed on screen - starts, but does not complete the set of procedures ( it does the first 6 subs of 12 )

Both projects have subs of the same name - "Option private module" is used throughout. Most variables are declared at procedure level, a few at module level. "Option Explicit" is used throughout .

There is one excemption : The uppermost project control is located in "ThisWorkbook" from whence all module based subs are called. "ThisWorkbook" does not contain "Option private module" - as disallowed here.

No where in my vba is their a "Select" command !

Any ideas - anyone ?

Nothing particular stands out (needle haystack..) but perhaps the CALL commands contain something?

The best thing to do is open both instances, ALT-11 into the VBA code and put a break point in both bits of code and cycle through using F8

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
