countdown cell D2

I'm trying to check the cell D2 in excel spreadshet.

When the countdow in cell D2 is write in the form "00.00.00" the check on cell works fine, but when the countdown become red in BetManager and is written in excell in the form "-00:00:00" I can't control the cell.
Is there any way to change the form "-00:00:00" as a time form like ""00.00.00"?

Here's a formula I use to convert D2 into the number of seconds before the off.

=IF(LEFT(D2)<>"-",(HOUR(D2)*3600)+(MINUTE(D2)*60)+SECOND(D2),-((HOUR(SUBSTITUTE(D2,"-",""))*3600)+(MINUTE(SUBSTITUTE(D2,"-",""))*60)+SECOND(SUBSTITUTE(D2,"-",""))))

SUBSTITUTE(D2,"-","")

The above removes the "-"
