AUS Race times not showing correctly

Postby Castillo » Fri Apr 02, 2010 11:40 pm

Hi All

Is it just me or are the AUS race times in BA different to the times on the Betfair webiste, they also seem to be in the wrong order.

Currently viewing the meeting Bend (AUS) 3rd April

Betfair R1 8:25...R9 13:32
BA R2 10:00...R9 15:32 (R1 is 11:25)

Not sure if this is a bug, or an API problem?

Cheers

Unfortunately the date returned by the API in the getAllMarkets() call contains the wrong date. I am investigating if a solution is available.

Thanks Gary

Gary

Just noticed the AUS Horse racing markets are now showing for the 4th April. I've had a quick glance and they seem to be OK and displaying in the correct order. Hopefully it was just a glitch for the one day.

Cheers

Yes, they appear to be correct which just proves Betfair provided the wrong times for today's races. It's very frustrating as not all vendors decided to use the getAllMarkets call. It's the only call where the time is wrong.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
