green up in place market

Hi, im new to this so sorry if its a stupid question, you can lay a horse in the win market and put a back bet hopefully to green up, but can you please advise if you can do the same on the place market?

can i lay something in the place market and put a back bet during in play and hoping it get match?

Sports betting software from Gruss Software


The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.
