Two sheet Excel trigger

Postby siony1974 » Fri Aug 16, 2013 10:49 pm

I'm not sure if this is possible but here goes.

I understand the mechanics of using Excel for triggered betting but is it possible to use the results from one sheet to trigger a BACK bet on a second sheet which then feeds back into BA to place the bet?

I want to track the favourite in a race until just before the off but place a bet on that horse in the Place market.

Is this set up possible with BA or am I approaching the problem from the wrong angle?

Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated.

Yes of course,I do it quite regularly mate.
download the win market on say sheet1 and then the place market on sheet2.Now set up a rank column in sheet1(say col AF) that monitors column F in sheet1.
In the trigger formula in sheet2 you need to stipulate that sheet1 colAF (corresponding row) is ranked 1

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
