Inplay time vs. actual time

Postby Dag » Fri Nov 01, 2013 7:06 am

Anybody knows is there any rule about Inplay time (horse racing, UK, IRE…) and actual race time? In the race:

Punch 30th Oct - 14:05 2m Mdn Hrd
I fixed manually Inplay time (when all odds are finished or final market suspended appears) 645 seconds and found that winner time were 232.6 seconds.

Is there any possibility to stop the (red) watch in this (excellent!) program when race is over? Or to stop it in Excel?

Thanks in advance.

There was probably a false start, Betfair may well have kicked the market inplay early then reset a started it later. Not much you can do about those

Thanks You Captain.

I know that I can do nothing but I want to know in what relation is red clock in the program (In Play Time) with real race start. If it is possible of course…

Huh… finally. I thought that red clock and In Play is the same… now everything is clear.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
