Has anyone accessed the BA Com with VB .Net?

I have no need for Excel and just want to access the BA Com with Visual Basic 2010.

If anyone has achieved this and can post a little code to get me started then it would be much appreciated.

I have tried a small getBalance program and it just won't work.

Fiddled around and got it working.
