New CHART type: Kagi Swings

Postby Livermore » Mon Feb 17, 2014 2:18 am

Hello Gary and Mark,
Trust all is well. Would you kindly provide insight to the likelihood of BA incorporating additional CHARTING features at some time in the future.

Specifically for this thread, the ability to draw the KAGI Swings. This type of charting differs from the traditional Hi-Low bars or Candlestick charts by being independent of time... producing a chart, that in my opinion, reduces random noise.

Within this request, may I learn if you are familiar with the software NINJA TRADER?

It is an advanced charting package that allows custom indicator development and accepts external data feeds. I have seen a User (working a different Betfair programme) produce charts of Betfair price fluctuations upon the Ninja platform.

So, as a part 2 to my enquiry, is there any consideration of having BA "plug-in" to a 3rd party charting vendor, namely Ninja Trader?

Thank you both for your time now, I wish you continued success.

Regards,
Livermore

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
