Sometimes you can get a better result by going to www2.betfair.com
But at the moment its intermittent, although the API seems OK...

They did that to me a few weeks back 2 bets placed 5 seconds apart, losing bet stood winning one won void

Brilliant, just received an email from Betfair apologising about yesterday and telling me the issue has been fully resolved.

Just been out for a bit. It was a nice surprise to see the API hasn't blown up in my absence
