Yes I can understand what you are saying, but they really will work with you to ensure that you don't get data usage and transation charges. They will provide good data and help you to reduce your usage and transaction charges.

This means that if you should pay usage charges BF will first look at the comission you paid and will charge you only if you paid (for comission) less than the amount you should have paid (for usage) ???

How can you see your commission and applied commission from your BF account?

Al
you can see your commission and applied commission from BA interface
Account-Calculate Data request allowed-

I think that if you overcome the limits you are paying data charges and they deduct them when you pay for premium charges..(i am not sure though)

Yes you can see your data usage allowance by going to the account menu and selecting 'calculate data requests allowed'. This gives you your commission + implied commission figure. Below this figure is the requests earned figure. This shows you how many extra requests (over 20 per second) that you are allowed, due to the commission that you have paid.

To fully understand how the charges are applied you should read the section on Betfair charges on the Betfair site. Go to the Betfair web site, click on 'about us', then select 'Betfair charges' and read the sections about 'Transaction charges' and 'Data request charges'.

Hope this helps.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
