It's also worth mentioning Betfair would treat this as Premium Charge avoidance

Here was a thread from ages ago about the Russian PSP's and the India bookmakers funnelling bets via sub accounts

Hello Kev,and evreryone else,

First of all congratulations to all you who have acheived the status of becoming a Premium Charge payer!
I've been a member of Betfair since around 2002 and never mastered it yet!

I suppose nowadays becoming a PC is like a badge of honour....like receiving a letter in the 1970's from a bookmaker informing you had been banned.
I longed for one.... it would have proved I was cleverer than them and had beaten them....now they dont have the decency to send you a letter to show off..you just get restricted....(its probably against their company mission statement to ban people so they just make it unviable for you instead!)

I would love to know any strategies that get you to become a Premium Charge payer!.
Anyone out there who has a winning strategy but has been stymied by the charges please let me know and perhaps we
could come to a mutually beneficient arrangement.
Very best wishes and well done to you all I say.

I must continually be the most naive guy I know. At what point do betfair put you in the PC brigade and how in gods name do they think its okay to charge up to 60% commission.

I'm launching a new strategy tomorrow morning and I'm finding it harder to shake off the feeling that I could be on to a small earner. I presume if I'm not staking hundreds every day I'm okay.

Finally, it appears from the chat on here that people sooner use Betdaq these days. Is that really the case now, if I want to back and lay where do I need to go

We achieve this by promoting and protecting consumer interests throughout the UK, while ensuring that businesses are fair and competitive.

Two people of this forum tried my premium charge loophole.
Both were satisfied and paid the last agreed rate after 1
respectively 2 months paying no premium charge.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
