Is the link to the test version of your Batdaq application available to all users of Bet Assistant ?

It's available to anyone who is interested. It's a completely separate product, we are not allowed for example to make statements like 'available to all Betting Assistant users'. I have emailed you the link.

Hi, Garry,
I am currently using BA/Excel/vba for several of my programs.
Is there an equivalent of BA for Betdaq, in case I'd have to migrate to without changing my code?

We will be producing a separate application for Excel triggered betting to the browser based application. We will try to stick to the same format so you will have to make minimal changes.

Gary,

Is it possible to reduce the refresh rate in the Betdaq Assistant available via the link in the topic to below 0.2 seconds or is impacted by the Betdaq site?

I have looked at the functionality available via out the "settings" and "options" buttons but 0.2 seconds seems to be the minimum refresh rate.

I don't understand why you need quicker than 0.2 seconds, but I'll look into it. Betdaq might not be happy with us bombarding their server.

I suppose it had better be faster than the competition  The next update will allow you to go down to 0.1 seconds.

Just received an email from Betdaq requesting me to limit the price refreshes to 200ms and the bets to 500ms so I won't be able to do this after all. The competition won't be able to do it either.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
