Sorry if I am missing something here, but is there any way to set the batch size to 1 when using the "Excel Log Mutiple Sheets Quick Link"

Thanks

If Betfair say they are implementing a fix shortly does that mean that something changed with the API recently? This info would be very helpful to me.[/quote]

Is there a reason why I can't get a reply to this question? I'm starting to get a bit paranoid.

Hi,

They did not make an official change to the API but something did change which caused the errors that have been seen by users.
They have acknowledged the error and say that they are implementing a fix.
That's as much as we know.

Regards,
Mark

Like Nconter i'm getting a bit paranoid now too! Should I be setting batch size to one under log multiple sheets, and if so how do I do it?

I doubt it very much but is it at all relevant that you can update as many bets at a time as you like on the main site without problem? Also I wonder if anyone knows whether other software providers are having the dreaded bbm_ daemon... problem?

Betfair say they are hoping to fix the bbm_daemon_not_available problem on wednesday. Let's see.

That means that we will be able to place many below min bets at the same time from excel?

I reported this to Betfair yesterday. They were seeking my help to show what was happening! They don't seem to have the ability to test their own systems!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
