How close to live is sport on amazon?

Postby N Counter » Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:30 am

Hi all.
I only trade on football markets so now that amazon are to stream premier league I am wondering how far behind live the pictures will be. Has anyone had any experience of other sports on amazon and how delayed it is. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I dont know the answer but what I do is put the radio on and then you'll have a good idea. You hear the events unfold long before you see them.

Hi pauliow, thanks for your reply. I do generally use the radio com along side TV pics but radio commentators will typically report an incident such as a goal and then go off to another match before confirming that it has been given, (especially with VAR) so it's good to see it with my own eyes. TV coverage is usually about 5-6 seconds behind live and is workable. I'm hoping that someone may have attempted to trade another sport while watching on amazon (maybe tennis) and tell me how far behind live it is.

Thanks again.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
