BA with office 2019

Postby bolpx001 » Wed Feb 05, 2020 3:46 am

Hi I got a new laptop and to cut a long story short I can't get office 2010 macros to work so I thought why not upgrade to office 2019. It then occurred to me that Betting assistant might not work well with Office 2019 on a windows 10 machine, any thought or advice much appreciated :)

Hi,

As far as we are concerned it should work ok.
As long as the software is installed on the local machine and you're Excel files are stored and opened from the local drive then we don't envisage any problems using Betting Assistant with Excel 2019 on Windows 10.

Regards,
Mark

Thanks Mark
As luck (and tenacity) would have it I got the Office 10 to work, the issue was a missing reference in VBAProject for outlook (Microsoft Outlook Live Social Provider) as to how this should impact excel macros I doubt I will ever understand :(
best regards - Paul

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
