I get different volumes at the prices

Postby Anastasios » Wed Sep 16, 2020 12:46 pm

Hi all!

I have this issue, when i start recording a race, my excel start keeping the prices and the volumes that are increased.. I use the simple method, getting the A = Total Matched Volumes then getting the B = Total Matched Volumes(Newest) then i do B - A = result.. so i do this type of method to see in what price what volume as increased.. am gathering to the Dictionary, if 2.50 as 1000$ then add to dicionary, if again the 2.50 odd has new increase of money then add it to dicionary.. But, when i gather this way the prices with the volumes, i dont get the same result as BF chart sheet look like.. :/ Can i use COM to get correct volumes at the prices as BF chart sheet shows?

Sorry for my bad English.

BA just uses betfairs API so the prices and volumes will reflect what Betfair show on the website. Have you had a look at the COM help page in the manual. That shows what requests and data you'll get with the CoM http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... e/help.htm

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
