Just some general bot build advice

Postby horsesforcourses » Tue Apr 12, 2022 8:53 pm

Hi , I have had the software now for a few months and mastering the one sheet basics. I want to ramp up my strategy up with a multi triggers per horse selection bot but I am unsure how to go about it really. I just cant get my head round how I am going to do it with one line of trigger per horse selection

Horse A-
Stage 1 - Lay at a predetermined point which I will write excel code for- If it drifts out at a certain number of ticks then we have a green. If the horse continues to steam in e.g. 12 ticks

Stage 2 - Then Lay again. Drifts certain number of ticks then green, continues steams then

Stage 3 . Final lay - Drifts e.g. 12 then green . still continues to steam certain number of ticks then take offset loss

How I will I do this in general ? Will I need 3 tabs with excel code linking them all up? Can you even do 3 tabs ? Thanks in advance

You need VBA to

Submit Lay 1 with offset
Clear bet ref
Submit Lay 2 with offset
Clear bet ref
Submit Lay 3 with offset
If condition is met clear bet ref and submit red bet

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
