Raw feeds are few and far between these days and I've stopped my regular scan. There's good money to be made tho on RUK meetings if you've got Turf TV as that is at least 1.2 secs faster than RUK and the in-running liquidity is strong, partly because the RUK lads believe they are on par with Turf TV.
That said, if you don't have the race reading skills, like me, you may need a 10 sec advantage to make it pay. I'm completely rubbish at in-running race reading but at least I know it and keep away :)

Oh, I forgot to mention the guy near Warwick who has access to the BISS codes from SIS. Completely illegal of course and you'll see when he plays because he lays for about two grand at 2.04 and then backs the same amount at 1.3. Just watch out for him towards the end of a race. I built a bot a while back to put in trades just better than him when I saw his telltale bets and it did quite well......

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
