football trading method

Postby citroen999 » Wed Jul 01, 2009 1:35 pm

i am trying to trade the football over 1.5 market. And i was wondering what other footy traders thoughts are on the following strategy

at the moment i am backing from the kick off then laying when the 1st goal goes in, but only allowing a 50% loss if no goal is scored.. so when my loss is half my original stake i am trading out.

but i am thinking of modifying the above in one of the additions below.

1. wait 10 mins for no goal then back at better odds then trade out as above

2. wait 10 mins for no goal then back at better odds tehn green up on any amount of profit

3. wait 10 mins for no goal then back at better odds, dont green up on 1st goal profit, wait for a 2nd goal for max profit, but trade out if odds drift to 0.00 profit, this gives more time for a 2nd goal

4. wait 10 mins for no goal then back at better odds, dont green up on 1st goal profit, wait for a 2nd goal for max profit, but trade out if odds drift for a 50% loss, this gives even more time for a 2nd goal

hope the above makes sense

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
