Sorry, there isn't currently an option to do that. You need to click the level profit column when the second bet is matched.

Yes you can do that, or any number of ticks. Set the tick offset to 1 under the "Tick offset" tab in betting options and also tick "Auto level". As soon as the first bet is matched it will place the second bet automatically using the appropriate stake to level up. You should read the user guide for an explanation of tick offset. You can view the user guide from the program help menu.

It shouldn't be giving you more liability. The 2nd bet is always placed relative to the matched odds. If the odds change quickly you may end up with more profit on one selection than another, but never more liability.

If you could try it again and this time look in the transaction log under the accounts menu and send me a copy of the description for placing the 1st and 2nd bets it would be helpful. Click on the description so that the text is highlighted and press ctrl+c to copy it, you can then use ctrl+v to paste the description into a message.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
