New Betfair PC

Postby 2020vision » Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:05 pm

Hi All :)

just wondered if anybody else noticed a drop in the 1st new Premium Charge
and do you think it will last? Mine was significantly less (approx. 30%) than
expected. Hope it continues. Have always paid the PC and made no major
losses in the early years so this *appears* to be good news for me.

Have a nice day - Michael :)

My PC is still just showing the last 60 weeks- I though the new system started next week. Is your different?

I assumed new charge would be applied every Wednesday after 12/10/09? :?

All I know right now is my PC is around 30% less than expected and
guessed it was due to the new way of working it out?

Of course I could be wrong?

Will keep my eye on it though. Michael :)

I think the new changes apply to bets placed after the 12th- so the first new system payments would come through next week. Although I also could be wrong.

I'm just going by my portal statement- which only covers the last 60 weeks.

You appear to be quite right Spike

my portal charge says last 60 weeks too but nevertheless I had
quite a nice surprise with a much lower than expected PC. :P

Ttfn - Michael :)

I think the first new statement will be next week as the new charge came in this Monday as far as I'm aware.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
