Place 2 bet in a row with an excel trigger

Postby the_mathman » Mon Nov 02, 2009 11:37 am

Hi to all!

I want realize an excel trigger for place a BACK and a LAY together.
E.g.
in a race, in Play, if an horse quote is <3 i want BACK 10euros @ 3 and LAY 15 euros @ 2 and i want place the 2 bets in the same moment.

With a classic trigger I can send only 1 bet on the same horse.
How i can to send 2 bet simultaneously?

thank you!

Sorry, there isn't a facility to place two bets simultaneously. You will need trigger them on separate refreshes. You will need to either use the CLEAR trigger to blank the ref column to allow the second bet or use VBA to clear the ref.

So the process is as follows.

1) Trigger back bet
2) When ref column is populated with a bet ref change trigger, stake and odds to lay bet
3) Clear ref column to allow lay bet to be placed

Open the same market in another tab and use one tab for Backs and the other for Lays.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
