Estimated BF SP

Postby Fixador » Tue Feb 09, 2010 10:23 am

Mark / Gary , or anyone...

I haven't seen/noticed either of the following, but...

(1) In a linked excel sheet : What does the estimated BFSP cell show when BF add (NR) to the end of selection name ?

(2) In a linked excel sheet : When the race goes 'in play' - does the estimated BFSP become the actual BFSP ?

cheers

PS : v1.1.0.63 is the greatest ! the ability to link BA to multiple workbooks is a stunner ! got me out of a right ol pickle !

1) I will have to test it and get back to you. It should be zero, but now you've asked I can't be sure.

2) Yes, it becomes the actual BFSP

I recommend you upgrade to 1.1.0.64v when you get the chance. This version auto updates so should stay up to date with updates in future.

Obviously I'm speaking for myself but I would pay a lot more for BA and wouldn't resent it one bit- and how long is that competion likely to remain free for anyway?

thank you Gary, I'd presumed the estimated BFSP cell had gone blank or =1.0 but I'd never actually noticed it.

upgrading

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
