Anyone know if it is possible to get a complete list of the days runners, with the Betfair spelling?

Hi,

You could do it with Excel to produce a list of the runners.

Yes at the moment I have to go into each race using Gruss and use the excel log function then copy and paste to make a full list. Very time consuming, especially once evening racing kicks in.

I was hoping there was an easier way to get the list. I can get it from other sites but the spelling is crucial when it comes to Betfair. They don't use apostrophes etc, so that buggers it up for automation.

You can open every race in the quick pick in one tab by right clicking and then log that tab to an Excel workbook.

Give it a try:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b0936a3 ... unners.xls

Just link the first race of your quick pick list into first sheet and the rest will be done auto. If a race is suspended you have to manually go to next.

The file is not mine , I don't remember who created.
Thank you mate

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
