Market Depth

Postby BENNY97 » Thu Jan 13, 2011 2:41 am

Hi ,is there any chance of making the market depth figures slightly bolder , they were great in version 1.1.0.66w4 and versions before that but you seem to have made them smaller or less bold and when the green traded colour is over them it's very hard to make out the figures.
Also while i was looking to see if the market depth figures appeared bolder if i unticked traded volume or the last price matched chart ( which didn't ) i noticed that the market depth would not appear unless i had traded volume and last price matched chart ticked aswell.
Thanks

I think you may be getting market depth mixed up with traded volume. The column on the far right is traded volume not market depth. Unticking traded volume correctly made this column disappear. Market depth refers to the amounts in the blue and pink columns beyond the best three prices.

I'll see if can add an option for you in a later release.

Sorry about my confused ramblings  it was late last night i'd had a drink and my other half was shouting to me if i'd seen her clean nighties !
What i meant was the traded volume figures at the righthand side of the ladder , they seem to have gone smaller in the last few updates , i use the traded volumes to help me in choosing an entry and exit point when trading ,so it's pretty important to me that i can see them clearly.

Thanks :)

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
