Trigger: CANCEL-ALL-LAY (excluding those marked IN-PLAY)

Postby Livermore » Thu Apr 07, 2011 4:49 am

Hello,

I'm using the "BACK" trigger with the "TFn-IPC" modifier for my initial outlay.

Typically, I will then stalk a LAY wager in the same event. Watching the TICK CHART often I will CANCEL-ALL-LAY to better position my bet.

The impact however, is that the LAY component of the initial BACK trigger is naturally also cancelled.

Could you share any insights to how I may better handle this approach?

A trigger "CANCEL-ALL excluding bets IP" is the type of statement I thought may be possible.

My on-going thanks and appreciation for the work done.

Good fortune to you.

Regards
Livermore

There isn't a trigger to exclude in play bets from CANCEL-ALL-LAY so the only option is to just use CANCEL instead and ensure that the ref you want cancelled is in column T.

I understand Gary, I'll manage as is.

The speed of your feedback and overall support to your great work is why I refer Bet Assistant to any one who will listen.

Your product is the only software example I've found that can take a "great idea" and turn it into a profitable outcome.

Again my thanks,
Livermore

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
