Tried to start BA but it sticks at the message "updating betting assistant" :cry:

Anyone else?

Sounds like your PC's security might be preventing it. Try updating it manually. Uninstall using windows control panel then re-install from the following link.

What version of Windows are you using?

Ive had the same security for years. Can i please have a link to the stable version pls as i do not need any updates.

I think you are jumping the gun a bit to say it's unstable. It's only the updater program that has encountered a problem, not the main application. We haven't changed the updater program so something must have changed on your PC to stop it working.

You will still have problems though because the whole Betfair site is down at the moment so please don't blame BA.

Im not blaming BA i just need the excel link so never need the updates. Im doing a security scan at the mo and already its seen 18 threats so maybe that is the problem. BA has never crashed on me in the years i have been using it and i will continue to do so.

Sorry, I was bit too defensive there. It's just Betfair crashing yet again is annoying.

PC cleaned and all is working well as per usual. It must of been the sites that i visit with the naked nineteen year old blondes showing off their bottoms that caused the problem.
