Postby Toma » Fri May 06, 2011 9:11 pm

Does anyone know if there is anyway that I can load tomorrows racing into the quick pick list tonight (Before midnight!)

Open preferences, select quick pick preferences tab and Untick "Only load today's events"

Hello Garry, I tried that mate and it works for all the afternoon racing but for some reason won't load Thirsk and Warwick tomorrow evenings cards?

You didn't say that before! I thought none of them had loaded.

Maybe the markets weren't added last time the markets were refreshed. Click the refresh button above the market tree to reload the markets. Then try adding them again.

Sorry Gary, I should have mentioned that initially.

I have refreshed the market tree and the Thirsk and Warwick races are there but when I add the UK win markets to the quick pick list it stops at the 17:20 Worc?

Its not a major issue as I can CTRL Q them in there just wondered if there was a better way?

That's weird. Have you definitely unticked that option in quick pick preferences because it really sounds like it's ticked. It's working fine here.

Forget that. I wasn't thinking. You wouldn't have any of the races if it was ticked.

It actually sounds like you haven't refreshed the market tree. What happens if you restart BA?

Doh! I've just realised what's happening. You've scrolled to the end of the list. 17:20 Worcester is on Sunday. Scroll back up the list and you should see Thirsk and Warwick.

I even tried changing the time on my PC yesterday to tomorrow and GRUSS is that good it detected my little cheat and said it wouldn't do anything until i reset my PC time!

Just for info I am running version 1.1.0.65z6 ?

Yep, but I don't want Sundays in there yet :?

I load the quick pick list and then open them all in the current tab, which I then export to Excel for further processing.

I see. You'll have to delete Sunday's I'm afraid by selecting each one and using the delete key. It's either just today's or all days.

If you upgrade to the Beta version you can ctrl+click the first market and shift+click the last market to select a range, right click and select delete from the popup menu to delete them all.

ah okay I will do that then....like the "ctrl+click and shift+click the last market to select a range" functionality.

Once again I knew there would be way, this software and the support never ceases to amaze me...I would be lost without it!

Different class, and thanks for helping an idiot out!

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
