This actually started yesterday and has got worse and worse. I was surprised that Betfair didn't try and solve it during the night.

Yes it seemed to work for a few races, but the issues are back again now.

brilliant, just back from work and find i've lost a bundle cos betfair is tits. prices flashing all over. not sure why i bother anymore, have a good run then get kicked in nads by their tat. they do all this supposed upgrades and maintenance and its no better than 12 months back. i need to somehow code for this but not sure if its practical.

Happy trading :)

I lost today as well.

Now, it is going take another 7 days get the money back and this was after the so-called fix.

They really are a shambles.

im another one who witnessed this nightmare with bf.
i count myself lucky to be at the pc and not at work like others.

i had a system that would be quite cosistent in small profits, but during this episode i couldnt win a penny.

i would like to know who the actual winners were in-play while this was happening.

We got some cracking matches in-running live at the track yesterday.

How do your bots work ? Surely you weren't just following the out of date odds ?

I don't use automated trading.

When the "API" went up the spout I tried to "Green Up" but, nothing happened and therefore leaving me with a big liability.

This has happened several times over the years and Betfair never seem to like voiding races unless under exceptional circumstances.

You just have to live with it but, it does hurt when it happens.

We were half expecting some of our bets on the first (I think) at Newbury to be voided.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
