Gambling related books for sale

Postby doris_day » Fri May 10, 2013 9:34 pm

I recently moved from a large city house to a smaller place in the country and I'm now going through my vast collection of books to prune them back a bit. I literally have thousands but I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and lose some of my gambling books. I felt they should go to good homes and I think there are some nice chaps on the forum that may appreciate them. All were bought from new and are in as new condition. PM me if interested.

The Odds - Chad Millman (Hardback £10)

Hope you get your books to good homes!

What did you honestly think of Automatic Exchange Betting? I have a copy on my bookshelf and just wondering whether I should read it.

I bought it ages ago at a time I was intending to learn to code. Until I realised I'm simply too old and stupid to do that. I get much cleverer people to do that for me now. I can think out of the box and have tons of creative ideas for alogorithms but I've given up hope on the self coding front.
I think if you're a coder its good but not if you're not !

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
