kEMPTON 15.10 2m4f

Postby wizardofmann » Mon Nov 03, 2014 7:48 pm

The race finished in a dead heat between Fox Appeal and Theatre Guide. I backed Fox Appeal and I lost my stake! Anyone else in the same boat :?: Also Caid Du Berlais in the same race went 1000 well into the race and the full result show it as a non-runner. What is going on :?:

I'm guessing you backed Fox Appeal at odds against and got something back. Dead heat are calculated as if 50% of your stake lost and 50% won at the odds you took.

Maybe Caid Du Berlais was a late non runner and they didn't have time to withdraw from the runners until after the race had finished.

No I backed Fox Appeal to win! Caid Du Berlais had Sam Twisten Davies in the saddle and I always keep on eye out for him and he was down to 8/1 when it shot out to a 1000!

I recorded the excel sheet of that race and there are only 4 runners, Caid Du Berlais was not included.I took 3.00 on Theatre Guide and 2.26 on Fox Appeal in play and received 1.5 and 1.1 back respectively looking at my figures. Hope this helps.

I think that probably just did the trick here.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
