Can you BA on a Palmtop computer?

Postby one cool dog » Wed Jan 31, 2007 5:01 pm

Hi

Has anyone use BA on a palmtop, and is it compatible?

Rather than do a ton of research myself, I might as well as about it here first.

Cheers

Still on the longshot here, but as no-one else seems to have an answer...

Don't know if you can use BA on a palmtop, but...
according to their website, Logmein (which a few people have suggested) can be used on a PDA (i think this is similar to a palmtop). I think this means you will be able to load the Logmein program on your home computer and access BA on your home computer through the PDA. No idea about time delays or anything, but as long as this is not too much of a problem, may be a solution.

You will probably need to specify your requirements to any salesperson if you are going to buy a PDA and test it before buying. Will let you know if i find anything else.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
