Target Columns Count Question with 2nd BA Question

Postby dgs2001 » Tue Jul 15, 2008 2:07 pm

Hi All

A couple of questions

1) can anyone confirm that there appears to be no issuses running a second instance of BA logging to the same instance of MS Excel as 1st BA.

2) can anyone confirm in the correct score market what would be the Target Columns Count i should be looking for, for a complete price update.

IE. Will Target Columns Count <> 16 still work ?

Thanks Duncan

Hi Duncan, Yes, I have two instances of BA one for place and one for win updating to the same sheet in the same excel file. On the First BA I have set tab one to start logging at row 11, tab 2 at row 61 tab 3 at row 111 etc. And on the second one I start logging at row 1011, tab 2 at row 1061 tab 3 at row 1111 etc.
Don't know about question 2
best regards - Paul

I'm pretty sure that a coumn count of 16 is still correct for this market.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
