Auto select first event

I am using an in-play betting strategy. I was using Auto select markets, with value 0. Each race was loaded at scheduled off. However, sometimes, when the race is delayed it is only in play for a few seconds (or not in play at all) before the next race is loaded. So I am missing the opportunity to place bets.

So now I changed this. I have disabled Auto select markets. After the race is completed, I put -1 in the Q2, and the next race loads. So far so good. But I cannot get the first race loaded. Because Auto select markets is not enabled, BA does not load the race automatically. And when I put the value -1 in Q2, BA does not see this as long as no race is yet loaded (that is, the opening screen is still visible). Then when I manually load the first race, it reads the -1 and then it loads the second race.

It is not that I am too "lazy" to load the first race manually, but I want to be able to run the BA and Excel for multiple days without human intervention. With the combination of Auto select markets, and putting value -3 in Q2 to reload the quick pick list, this was possible. But now, having Auto select markets disabled, it no longer works.

Is there a way that BA automatically loads the first race after BA is started and after the quick pick list is reloaded (using value -3 in Q2)?

Or, alternatively, is there a way to tell BA to load the race at actual off (like you can do already with the preceding race)?

I have just updated version 1.1.0.21 to overcome this limitation. -1 will trigger the first race even when no races have been selected yet. Uninstall your current version using the control panel and re-install from http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... a_Test.msi to try it out.

Gary, I just tested it, I put -1 in Q2 and the first event loads perfectly, so yes it works.

Now I have another question. Yesterday I noticed that often (after putting in -1 in Q2) it loads the next race more than once. For example, at 15:00 I want to load the race of 15:00, but I end up having loaded race of 15:30. Is this behavior you have seen before? I am using two worksheets in one spreadsheet, and I want to load the next race in both of them, could this have to do with it?
