version 66p ladder screen layout change

Postby greenfingers » Wed Apr 28, 2010 2:26 pm

Hi, there is now a vertical scroll bar at the right of the ladder screen regardless of how long the ladders are, this in turn makes the screen slightly wider and is messing up my normal layout. Any chance this could be sorted please?

I'm not 100% sure if the scoll bar is the chage. There is some blank space beneath the stake buttons now which I think wasn't there before - maybe this is causing the scroll bar to appear? In any case, the screen now requires more width than before.

I'll sort it. I have improved things even though you may not appreciate it right now (because of the scroll bar). If there are many runners you can now scroll down the list of runners without scrolling the top of the ladder off screen. Also you can resize the ladders horizontally.

Good stuff, thanks for the info. The ability to resize the window horizontally is fabulous for fitting more ladders. It also enables me to reset the overall width to the previous setting, so that works well. Many thanks Gary.

Just my fix

Hi, there is now a vertical scroll bar at the right of the ladder screen regardless of how long the ladders are, this in turn makes the screen slightly wider and is messing up my normal layout. Any chance this could be sorted please?

If you resize grab the divider between ladders and Profit figures column then
drag just slightly to the left so that you can read the whole of the word "Total
matched" the scroll bar you refer to will disappear.

Hope this is of use - Michael :)

Thanks Michael, that is a cool feature which I hadn't seen even though I use the ladders most days! Sometimes Gruss is hiding its light under a bushel! :)

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
