Formula to keep data once moved on to next race

I have the following formula in one of my excel spreadsheets.

IF($N398="","",IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP($N398,GRUSS!A:P,15,FALSE)),IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(N398,Odds!B:E,2,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP($N398,Odds!B:E,2,FALSE)),VLOOKUP($N398,GRUSS!A:P,15,FALSE)))

Firstly this is looking at the lay odds 1 column, when really i need it to look at the back odds 1 column, which part do i change.

Secondly, when i set it up and move on to the next race, the data that was in the fields disappears, is there anyway for the last data to be saved in the cell instead so i can use it later?
