Cannot connect to my excel worksheet

Postby aubweaver » Sat Sep 04, 2010 8:41 am

Hi,
I have finally built an excel worksheet for triggered betting but I cannot get it to connect/interact with betting assistant.
I have followed the instructions in the user guide, ie I have the worbook open - I select excel in Betting Assistant - the workbook is shown - I select the sheet - select cell A1 - enable triggered betting - Clear bet refs on auto Mkt -
the appropriate mkts (horse racing) have been selected in quick picks - set the timing in Auto selct Mkts - everything is loading and auto selecting in betting assistant but when I open up the excel worksheet..'Nothing'
Whether I use my programmed worksheet or just a completely new blank worksheet. The information is not loading onto the worksheet.
What am I doing wrong I must have missed something.
HELP...
Thanks Peter.

It sounds like you are doing everything correctly so I am not sure. Any chance I can have a look for myself? Send me a private message and I will send you the link for our remote assistance software.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
