Is your PC set to the correct date and time?

After logging in do you see the markets loading progress bar?

Is it just the quick pick list that is blank or is the market tree also blank?

Are there markets selected in quick pick preferences?

If you are desperate you can PM me now and I will send you the link to our remote assistance software so that I can have a look for myself and solve the problem for you.

Neither are blank - both appear as normal but if I select a market from either it does not appear.

Are there markets selected in quick pick preferences?
Yes - all uk racing.

I selected the 2:35 Doncaster - no runners appeared although at the end of the race the usual SUSPENDED appeared across the screen

Thanks

To rule out a problem with the configuration you can run the following program which will delete the configuration file leaving you with a clean install. You will have to enter your preferences again.

http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Betting ... ttings.exe

If it doesn't work then I'm afraid you will have to go back to the official version for now which you can download from the link below.

Gary

Deleting the configuration file has done the trick.

Many thanks

Just in case it helps you or any other users before deleting the config files I found the following:;'

The countdown timer was running ok for the market I had chosen

The total matched for the chosen market was showing and incrementing as normal

I changed to the ladder interface and, lo and behold, the market was showing ok. I placed a bet successfully which appeared in the bets manager correctly. Changed back to the grid but it was still blank.

I loaded excel and connected to BA - the list of runners was there - everything OK.

But still nothing on the grid.

Odd - anyway all is ok

Thanks

Definitely a config issue then. Thanks for the info.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
