Aus horses not loading correctly

Postby Daywalker » Sat Oct 02, 2010 8:49 am

The australian horse racing markets are not in order in betting assistant. My sheet seemed to be betting ok up to 635 this morning. looking at it now, for example Cran R2 should be at 10 am, BA is showing it at 7 am but countdown timer is correct. my sheet was waiting on Toow R2 since 7 am.
I tried logging off and on again but same.
UK markets seem to be ok.

p.s. manually selecting markets at moment, seem to be quite profitable as i'm guessing a lot of bots are in active???

Seeing as it's Gary's week off....

Betfair are returning incorrect race times in some API calls for AUS markets.

In some API calls { GetMarket, GetAllMarkets }, all meetings are showing 3 hours out, except Bunbury which is showing 1 hour out.

I have informed Betfair of the issue, but have no idea how long it will take them to fix it as it's a Saturday.

I am not 100% of the impact on BA, but I suspect you will see both the market times & countdown clock out by the above times.

Sports betting software from Gruss Software

The strength of Gruss Software is that it’s been designed by one of you, a frustrated sports punter, and then developed by listening to dozens of like-minded enthusiasts.

Gruss is owned and run by brothers Gary and Mark Russell. Gary discovered Betfair in 2004 and soon realised that using bespoke software to place bets was much more efficient than merely placing them through the website.

Gary built his own software and then enhanced its features after trialling it through other Betfair users and reacting to their improvement ideas, something that still happens today.

He started making a small monthly charge so he could work on it full-time and then recruited Mark to help develop the products and Gruss Software was born.

We think it’s the best of its kind and so do a lot of our customers. But you can never stand still in this game and we’ll continue to improve the software if any more great ideas emerge.
